Excellent game by Nigeria who totally out-played the Belgium side. Lots of goals and misses by the Eagles throughout the game. Nigeria will now play one of the best South America teams in Beijing for the finals.

Through thick and thin I’ve supported our boys, and as you know the lean years have been many. The qustions we muct ask is why is THIS team showing so much passion and professionalism?

    Thes

I’ll put it simply … These boys are home grown …like the toughchickens we see running around in niaja. Mikel, Yak, Martins and Yobo? they’re just overblown overfed “Agric”!

Here’s an idea… why don’t we stick with these boys in SA 2010?

We could reverse the seletion process so that its the so-called stars in Europe who have to fight for a place in the team.

    Odemwingie for captain for sure.

drop Yak …he’s lazy and not focused.

Have Marins as a second half striker.

Drop Mikel, this midfield has been very solid.

    Just a thought …

THERE IS NO DOUBT,SAMSON SIASIA IS A GOOD COACH,IN THE ABSENT OF MIKEL OBI,TAYE TAIWO,ENYEAMA AND UCHE KALU,THE TEAM IS STILL SOLID AND PLAYING BETTER.REMEMBER THE LAST NATION CUP IN WHICH BERTI VOGT OR WHAT THEY CALL HIM HAVE ALL OUR NUMEROUS STARS ON PARADE BUT EAGLE FAIL TO SCORE A SINGLE GOAL OR WIN A SINGLE MATCH.UNTIL WE LEARNT TO APPRECIAtes our own PEOPLE.SAMSON SIASIA HAVE DONE IT IN HOLLAND,IN THE LAST 8 NATION TOUNARMENT.I WANT HIM TO WIN THE GOLD FOR NIGERIA, SO THAT THE LIKE OF MIKEL OBI SHOULD KNOW THAT ,IS THE ONLY ALMIGHTY GOD THAT IS NOT REPLACEABLE ,THERE IS MANY AND THOUSANDS OF MIKEL ,TAYE TAIWO.PLEASE THIS THE TIME TO REVENGED THE HOLLAND 2005.ARGETINA MUST FALL THIS TIME AROUND.LIONEL MESSI MUST CRY THIS TIME ,THE GOLD IS OURS. The most precious gold in Olympics is the one from soccer. Nigeria, go for it. We deserve it. It is biblical. The last from the isles shall be the first.

Italy should have been in there. Would have been a better game at least.
