Argentina and Nigeria played a great game. Nigeria continues to be a very strong, physical team and accomplished a lot in getting to the finals. Great midfield ball movement by Argentina to break down the Nigerian line. I wanted Argentina to win but I continue to be impressed by the Nigerian strength on the field.

Even though I am Argentine, I have to say that this game was not the best match of the tournament, Argentina played well but definitely struggled to stay pace with Nigeria in the second half, probably from the heat but then the pitch they used for this match was absolutely terrible, the field was layered on top of the track course! I mean that is ridiculous, I did not see one clean pass except for Messi’s pass to Di Maria, The ref was a disaster, even though I was happy to see him let the players play, Nigeria got away with too many fouls, and Argentina diliberately wasted time in the last 10 minutes of the game, either team could have won this game, both had their chances to score goals…..hopefully Nigeria can produce a strong team like this one for the next world cup, which I am sure they will since it is in Africa

Being african from Cameroon, I wanted Nigeria to win. I was convinced they will win because they were so impressive in the semis.
I can’t believe the nigeriam #10 missed that opportunity in the 1rst half.
